Dorothy Powers Clay Music Director

Welcome to the site of Dorothy Powers, Music Director of Clay High School (South Bend, Indiana) from 1962 to 1988. Although impossible to adequately present all of Dorothy's accomplishments over her teaching/performing career, this site archives a large number of photographs, newspaper clips, sound bytes and video clips--the majority from Dottie's own private memorabilia collection! PLEASE NOTE: As of January 2021, Adobe has discontinued FlashPlayer. Many viewing areas of this site originally required FlashPlayer, so I am in the process of converting the Photo and Video Galleries to a more usable format (i.e., jpg, mp4, etc.). This will be helpful for those viewing from their phones as well, as previously FlashPlayer was not compatible with most Smartphones. Please be patient as I hope to have this work completed by Spring 2021, but it's a large undertaking. Also let me know if you have any additional suggestions on how to improve this site.
